Sprinkler Irrigation Project – Chemelil, Kisumu In Chemelil, Kisumu, we installed several sprinkler systems as part of an irrigation project focused on improving fodder production. The primary goal was to ensure a reliable and efficient water supply for Napier grass (elephant grass), which is widely used as livestock feed. The sprinkler systems were strategically positioned to: Provide even water distribution Reduce water wastage Support consistent growth throughout dry seasons This project has significantly enhanced the quality and quantity of Napier grass in the area, contributing to better livestock nutrition and supporting local dairy and livestock farmers with reliable forage year-round.
